At a certain level you can gain the necessary qualification enabling you set up your own Academy with the full support of Salsa Academy Ltd.
Each course includes an assessment, and there are 4 grades: Complete, Merit, Honours and Distinction. The 4 Units that make up a Module cover the 4 elements to AMS (Academy Method Salsa). When you've completed all 4 Units within a Module you have a well rounded ability and understanding of the dance. At this point you are ready to move up to the next Module where each Unit covers the same elements, but at an increased resolution. In order to obtain a Module Pass, you must pass the 4 Units as follows:

A Module pass is graded as the lowest pass obtained in any of the Units.

Example: 3 Honours, 1 Distinction = Module grade of Honours.
Example: 1 Honours, 3 Distinction = Module grade of Honours.
