Salsa Academy offers an organised and professional system that provides an essential framework for all standards of freestyle dancer from absolute beginer to accomplished dancer. Academy Method Salsa takes you through the language of the dance to enable you to excel as a truly freestyle salsero.

The Academy is unique in that we teach a well defined system of dancing salsa. Here core techniques are taught from the very beginning. If you've not danced before you can rest assured that you'll get clear instruction, and every step of your learning progress we'll guide you as you progress through the Units and Modules on your exciting journey to become a competent and then accomplished salsa dancer.

If you are already experienced in dancing salsa, then we'll teach you techniques and concepts that will unlock doors so that you'll excel in your execution, understanding and enjoyment of dancing salsa. Our approach is unique and cutting edge, we'll demystify every aspect and bring the magic of the dance into vibrant focus for you.

Dancing the amazing dance of salsa is like writing a poem. If you have the beautiful poem inside you, then it cannot be expressed unless you learn the language, syntax, grammar, semantics, punctuation, how to conjugate etc. If you take the time to learn all these things properly and fully understand them, then you will be able to write the most beautiful poem, and not only that you wil be able to use the rules in innovative and clever and creative new ways. Academy Method Salsa is the same. We teach a set of techniques and core moves that make up all the rules of the language of Academy Method Salsa, then we teach you how use these rules, and then you can write your own "poem", and even use the rules in new and innovative ways - and truly express yourself on the dance floor.

Social dancing is a truly exciting way to meet new people, have fun, learn something new, focus energy and energise yourself. Salsa is the king of social dances. At the Academy we'll free the dancer in you, and if you think you don't "have it" in you, then we'll prove you wrong.
